Background: My wife, three children and I have lived in York and Adams Counties for over 20 years. I have practiced law for the past 27 years – mostly as an in-house general counsel for several companies. I also have significant experience leading human resources departments. I am a graduate of the Leadership York program through the York County Bar Association and I have served on several non-profit boards in York County.
Reason for Seeking Board Membership:
My family, like many, if not most, has faced a serious mental illness challenge. Our eldest daughter has lived with significant mental health issues for 10 years, requiring frequent hospitalization. We know how such a medical crisis can impact a family – emotionally and financially. Despite all of the resources available, it is often difficult to know where to turn. I’d be honored to use my personal and professional experience to help NAMI with its important mission of helping people impacted by mental illness.
